Faltando apenas 55 dias para o desfile oficial do carnaval, as Passistas Plus Size que integram o Grupo Plusamba, coordenadas por Aldria Adiola, tiveram um momento mais que especial neste ensaio, pois foram amadrinhadas pela atriz da Rede Globo, Mariana Xavier (37 anos) que com muito orgulho defende a causa das gordinhas.
Mariana que recentemente estrelou a secretaria Abigail na novela ‘A Força do Querer’, chegou a escola acompanhada por um grupo de amigos, entre eles Léo Santos, o seu professor de dança, onde juntos deram um show durante a 14 temporada do ‘Dança dos Famosos’ exibida no Programa do Faustão.
Ao ser apresentada no palco, Mariana foi aclamada enquanto dizia: “Que bom que uma escola de samba lembra que o carnaval não tem haver com o corpo e sim com o astral das pessoas.
