A dupla sertaneja Diego & Arnaldo acaba de assinar com a Sony Music. O duo que foi descoberto na cena musical de Ribeirão Preto, interior de São Paulo, é o mais novo nome do cast da gravadora que abriga grandes artistas da música nacional e internacional.
“É um sonho realizado. Todo artista que começa tem o sonho de assinar com uma gravadora grande, ainda mais a Sony, que é a número 1 na América Latina. Integrar o cast da Sony, se você olhar os nomes de artistas que fazem parte dele, é um privilégio”, comemora a dupla.
O duo, que atualmente mora em Goiânia e conta com uma breve – porém promissora – trajetória de três anos lotando shows por todo o país, seguirá trabalhando com o projeto “Do Jeito que Nóis Gosta 2”, lançado no final de 2017, que conta com a participação de outros nomes do sertanejo, como Naiara Azevedo (“Te Assumo”), e a dupla João Neto & Frederico (“Gorjeta do Garçom” e “Pra Dizer Adeus”). A atual música de trabalho, “Se eu te Procurar”, estreou recentemente nas rádios de todo o país já está entre as 10 canções mais executadas.
Sobre
Diego, 30 anos, nasceu em Edéia, Goiás, onde ajudava o pai na lavoura de soja. O primeiro contato com a música foi aos 15 anos, quando começou a tocar contrabaixo na igreja. Desde então, a música guiou seus caminhos, e, ainda na adolescência, mudou-se para Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. Como contrabaixista, tocou com duplas em bares da cidade, até despertar para outro talento: o canto. Com uma potente voz, logo se destacou na cena musical do interior paulista.
Arnaldo, nome artístico de Leandro, 36 anos, é mineiro, natural da pequena Ituitaba. A música ficou adormecida em sua vida até os 23 anos, quando largou o emprego de vendedor para mergulhar em uma promissora carreira no sertanejo, na mesma Ribeirão Preto de Diego. Foram 10 anos dedicados a seu primeiro projeto, que teve fim em 2014. Foi então que o encontro com Diego, por acaso, em um show do goiano em 2015, fez com que Arnaldo despertasse novamente para a música.
“Fui ao show dele, que na época cantava solo, e trocamos uma ideia. Perguntei se ele queria cantar comigo. Ele falou ´Na hora! Sempre achei que a gente iria cantar junto um dia´. E, de lá pra cá, estamos juntos. Nosso primeiro show foi em 1º de abril de 2015, no Dia da Mentira. A gente fala que é uma mentira que virou verdade”, relembra Arnaldo.
A química musical dos dois os levou a shows nas maiores casas de festa, festivais e exposições de todo o país. Logo no primeiro ano, com um público fiel e canções que já estavam na boca dos fãs, lançaram o DVD de estreia, “Do Jeito que Nóis Gosta”, gravado no Chess Pub, em Ribeirão Preto. Em 2017, a dupla se mudou para Goiânia e assinou com a Mega Produções Artísticas, escritório que agencia outros nomes do sertanejo, como João Neto & Frederico e Naiara Azevedo, que participaram de seu segundo DVD, lançado no final do mesmo ano.
“Do Jeito que Nóis Gosta 2”, gravado na casa Cachaçaria Água Doce, de volta a Ribeirão Preto, é o trabalho atual da dupla, e, entre outros, conta com os sucessos “Sofri em dobro”, que também fez parte do primeiro volume, e “Se eu te Procurar”. As duas canções ocuparam o topo da Crowley Brasil, empresa que monitora o mercado de rádio brasileiro, e a segunda segue, atualmente, entre as 10 músicas mais executadas do país.
Hoje, o duo faz uma média de 15 shows por mês e acaba de assinar com a Sony Music, casa de grandes nomes da música, entre eles, influências da dupla, como Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano. Prestes a completar três anos de história, o duo Diego & Arnaldo carrega, ao mesmo tempo, a maturidade de dois distintos percursos na música sertaneja e o frescor de uma dupla que promete impressionar não só pelo talento, mas pelo carisma.

(There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
