E isso vai de encontro a um tema extremamente marcante nos dias de hoje: inclusão e diversidade nos esportes. Segundo uma pesquisa divulgada pela Agência Brasil, mulheres sofrem preconceitos não só nos esportes online: “Comecei quando tinha 6 ou 7 anos. Ia pra casa da minha avó e meu primo fazia bolinha com meia. A gente ficava jogando na sala. Na minha infância, eu sempre joguei na rua. No colégio em que estudei, fazia treino junto com os meninos. Jogo no videogame também. E não parei. Sempre gostei”, contou. “Os meninos me chamavam de moleque porque eu jogava, mas eu nunca dei ouvido a isso” afirma a bancária Bruna Garcia.
Além disso, o público LGBT também recebe uma oportunidade no time da Jaguares, por exemplo. ”Eu, como, homem trans e psicólogo, eu não consegui emprego na minha área. A Jaguares me deu oportunidade para trabalhar com o que eu amo, quando ninguém me estendia a mão pra isso pelo fato de eu ser dessa classe” diz Jhony.
Outra área que não podemos deixar passar sem ao menos citar, é a inclusão de classes mais pobres neste esporte considerado caro até então, está sendo inserido nas comunidades em diferentes formas para que essas pessoas que tem a vontade e garra de entrar pro time, tenham também a oportunidade de mudar a sua vida como tantos outros fizeram, um dos motivos do aumento da busca por novos formatos de trabalho foi o aumento do desemprego, cerca de 27% de acordo com o IBGE, um fato que assusta grande parte da população fazendo com que buscassem novas formas de se sustentarem e uma parcela destes indivíduos encontraram nos games onlines uma forma de se distrair e até mesmo se manter e pagar suas contas!
